ARTC Kiacatoo Loop – Flood Repairs

UTS Rail completed flood repairs at Kiacatoo Loop to bring the passing loop back into service, following recent floods.

Our team mobilised to site and carried out the necessary repairs, following the wash away of signals, foundations and point machines. Replacement infrastructure was installed, damaged cable routes repaired and a complete recabling of the West end of Kiacatoo Loop was carried out.

Following the repairs, the equipment was set to work, tested & certified in short time, allowing the critical Kiacatoo loop to be booked back into use.
